Overview

Flywall ("we", "us", "our") is an AI brain product that captures knowledge from your Claude sessions and makes it available to you and your organization. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have over it.

What We Collect

Session data

When you connect Flywall to Claude Chat or Claude Code, we record the content of your sessions. This includes messages, code, decisions, and any other content present in those sessions. Recording happens automatically once you connect an integration.

Account data

When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and organization. If you join via an organization, your organization admin may have access to your account status.

Usage data

We collect standard usage data including timestamps, feature usage, and API token consumption (for billing purposes on the Company MCP product).

What we do not collect

We do not collect payment card details directly — payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not sell your data to third parties.

How We Use Your Data

  • To build and maintain your personal brain — extracted memories, decisions, and insights from your sessions.
  • To build your organization's company brain from knowledge you explicitly promote.
  • To power the Company MCP and Slack integration products.
  • To improve our AI processing pipeline and memory extraction quality.
  • To send you product updates and account-related communications.
  • To detect and prevent abuse of the service.

Personal Brain vs. Company Brain

Your personal brainis private by default. Only you can access it. You choose what to promote to your organization's company brain. Once promoted, other members of your organization can query that knowledge via the Company MCP or Slack integration.

Organization admins can see which users have connected integrations, but cannot read personal brain entries unless you promote them.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual memory entries at any time. If you close your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for billing records (up to 7 years).

Promoted company brain entries may persist at the organization level until an admin removes them.

Data Sharing

We share your data only in these circumstances:

  • Within your organization: Knowledge you promote to the company brain is accessible to other organization members.
  • Service providers: We use third-party providers for infrastructure (Google Cloud), AI processing (Google Gemini), and payments. They process data only as instructed by us.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access all personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and personal data
  • Export your personal brain entries
  • Opt out of non-essential communications

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@flywall.ai.

Security

We encrypt data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel. We are hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure with enterprise-grade security controls.

Despite these measures, no system is perfectly secure. If you discover a security issue, please report it to security@flywall.ai.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll notify you by email of any material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.
